Four service areas covering the full arc of district improvement. Select the services you're focused on — they'll carry through to your strategy conversation so we arrive prepared.
Standards tell teachers what to teach. We help districts decide how to measure it — and make sure grading actually reflects learning.
Project-Based Assessment Design
6–8 weeksModel projects, assessment blueprints, and rubrics (K-6) aligned to your standards and curriculum, with a teacher guide so implementation succeeds on day one.
Curriculum-Instruction Alignment Review
4–6 weeksWe audit your curriculum materials against standards and district goals, then hand you a prioritized roadmap — what to fix first and why.
Competency-Based Grading Design
6–10 weeksMove from points and averages to clear competencies and evidence of learning. Includes grading policy guidance, report structures, parent communication materials, and teacher rollout support.
Alternate Assessment Development
6–8 weeksPortfolios, performance tasks, projects — assessment pathways that let every student demonstrate learning, including the whole-child evidence that traditional tests miss. Rubrics and alignment documentation included.
New programs fail without skilled, confident people leading them. We develop educators and leaders so improvements stick long after the training ends.
Instructional Coaching Program Design
5–8 weeksA coaching structure tailored to your building or district — model, roles, PD plan, and success metrics.
Custom Workshop Series
Half-day to multi-session professional development on project-based learning, assessment practice, or instructional strategy — tailored to your teachers, with facilitator guides included.
Social-Emotional Learning Integration
6–8 weeksWe help districts put SEL into everyday classroom practice — not a separate block on the schedule. Designed around New York State's social-emotional learning benchmarks, with a focus on student belonging and supportive school culture. Includes staff training, classroom integration strategies, and progress measures.
School & District Leadership Coaching
One-to-one and small-group coaching for principals and district administrators. Semester-long engagements with defined goals and documented growth plans — focused on instructional leadership, leading change, and data-informed decisions.
NY Inspires is reshaping how New York students earn a diploma — one diploma, a Portrait of a Graduate, and new ways for students to demonstrate learning. Every district must adapt. We help you do it on your timeline, not Albany's.
NY Inspires Readiness Audit
4–6 weeksWhere do your curriculum, assessment, and grading structures stand today versus where the state is heading? You get a readiness report, gap analysis, and a prioritized roadmap.
Portrait of a Graduate Implementation
8–12 weeksFacilitated translation of the state Portrait into your local graduate profile, competency pathways, and demonstration-of-learning opportunities — including the Portrait's social-emotional competencies — with stakeholder engagement built in.
Program Evaluation
8–12 weeksEvidence district leaders can take to their boards: logic model, data collection plan, and a findings report with recommendations — used for academic programs, SEL initiatives, and grant-funded efforts alike.
Every grant has three needs: run it, prove it worked, and prepare the staff who sustain it. We cover all three.
Grant Program Design & Implementation Support
4–8 weeks setup + ongoing check-insA clean launch for new or existing grant initiatives: needs assessment, logic model, action plan, roles, milestones, and stakeholder communication.
Grant Evaluation Services
Independent evaluation for federal, state, and foundation grants — evaluation plan, data instruments, and funder-ready interim and final reports, aligned to your reporting calendar.
Grant-Focused Staff Training
Compliance basics, data collection, and using findings to improve practice — tailored sessions with job aids your staff keep using.
Ways to Partner
Every school's and district's needs are different. We offer flexible engagement structures designed to meet you where you are — from a single workshop to a full-year embedded partnership.
